Sapphic Book Bingo 2025

Year-long reading challenge
Description:
The Sapphic Book Bingo is a year-long reading challenge with two different bingo cards readers can choose, the regular card and the Book Unicorn card.
There are weekly posts with recommendations for each square of the bingo cards, but readers can also read any sapphic book that fits one of the category descriptions to fill their bingo card.
Thousands of readers are participating, plus many readers use the weekly book recommendation posts to find books for their to-be-read lists, even if they aren’t into reading challenges.

Deadline:
The submission is in fall the year before, but even if you didn’t submit a book, you can still use the Sapphic Book Bingo to promote your books.

Sapphic Book Advent Calendar 2024
Type of cross-promotion:
Bookish Advent calendar
Description:
Behind each calendar door will be a bookish goodie such as a giveaway, a discounted book, a free ebook, a bonus scene, or another fun surprise.
Behind doors 1-23 will be one book on each day, while doors 24 and 25 will be “group doors” with up to 15 sapphic books on the last two days of the event.

Sapphic Speculative Fiction Event
Type of cross-promotion:
3-day cross-promotion containing giveaways, discounted books, and free books
Description:
April is Speculative Fiction Month, so I’m inviting authors who write in that genre to participate in a cross-promo the weekend of April 4-6.
I’ll build a page for the event on my website, where the cover and a short blurb for each book will be displayed, along with a link to the book offer.
Authors can either:
- Offer 1 copy of their book in a giveaway with 1 winner (ebook, audiobook, and/or paperback – the format is your choice)
- Make their book free for ALL readers on retailers such as Amazon, Kobo, Apple Books, or Barnes & Noble on April 4-6. You can also offer a free ebook via Bookfunnel, but it needs to be a download-only page without newsletter signup.
- Discount the price of their book on retailers such as Amazon, Kobo, Apple Books, or Barnes & Noble on April 4-6.
Depending on how many submissions I get, I might divide the event into different subgenres, e.g., fantasy & romantasy on day 1, paranormal fiction & monster romance on day 2, sci-fi, dystopian & everything else on day 3.

- You’re willing to send out a newsletter to your subscribers on April 4 and help promote the event on social media. Cross-promos only work if every participating author does their best to promote it, and I’m serious about rewarding team players while excluding authors who never share from future cross-promos.
- You’re willing to give away 1 copy to 1 winner, put your book on sale, or offer it for free (the choice is yours).

Description:

Ultimate Sapphic Holiday Romance list

Last year, I put together a big list of sapphic holiday romances. I will keep adding books and promote the list as the holiday season approaches every year.
If you have written a sapphic romance that revolves around the winter holidays (Christmas, Hanukkah, etc.), let me know and I’ll add your book.

“New author” is defined as having published no more than two full-length novels. I’ll promote the post to my blog subscribers, on social media, in my Facebook group, and in my Goodreads group.

- IMPORTANT: This promo is only for new authors who have published no more than 2 novels. If you publish under multiple pen names and have published more than 2 novels across ALL pen names, you are not a new author. This spot is meant to highlight and help authors just starting out, not authors who are trying to establish a new pen name. I offer other opportunities to more experienced authors.
